Description
LOMELT 311 is a low heat input electrode that has hard tough deposits which are machinable, and it is micro crack and porosity-free deposits. Good resistance to Abrasion/Impact/Erosion/ Metal to metal Friction/Thermal shocks. Retain good hardness up to 5000C.

Recommendation:
For applications requiring all position welding for good high-temperature hardness. Multi-pass buildup and good machinability. Also recommended for components subjected to large compressive stress with moderate abrasion or metal-to-metal wear combined with impact or thermal shock. It can be used on plain carbon steels and
ferritic/martensitic low & medium alloy steels.
