Description
LOMELT 301 is a low heat input electrode that has a strong, tough, and machinable deposit on low & medium carbon steel and low alloy steels. Excellent weldability on almost all ferrous metals. High resistance to friction and impact. Ideal for a cushion layer prior to hard facing.

Recommendation:
For applications where resistance to severe impact on ferrous parts subject to heavy shock loading and pounding in service is desired. A specially formulated flux coating allows rapid metal deposition. Deposits are completely machinable.
