Description
MODI-9018 B3 is low hydrogen yielding a deposit of 2.25 % Cr & 1% Mo. The coating is specially formulated to resist
moisture pickup under conditions of high humidity. As the electrode resists moisture re-absorption, it helps in
preventing hydrogen cracking and aids in eliminating starting porosities. The welds are of radiographic quality.
Excellent strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures up to 5500C.
