Description
LOMELT 701 is a low heat input electrode for all position welding. It has good unmatched resistance to corrosion due to oxidizing acids, even at elevated temperatures. It has excellent
resistance to deformation due to static or cyclic load, even at high temperatures & excellent machinability and hot toughness.

Recommendation:
For rebuilding worn-out components used for handling hot metal or working under high-temperature conditions. Deposits have unmatched resistance to corrosion due to oxidizing acids, salts, chlorine-bearing compounds, mixed acids, etc., even at elevated temperatures. They are recommended for joining and building Hastelloy’, Inconel. Also
recommended for joining these high alloys to mild steels, low alloy steels or stainless steels.
