Description
LOMELT 405 is a low heat input electrode for all position welding. It has excellent adherence to dirty cast irons, and the electrode deposits porosity-free weld with good machinability. It is superior crack resistance and colour-matching with other Cast irons.

Recommendation:
A low heat input machinable electrode for cast iron is suitable for welding on oil-soaked and dirty cast iron. It is recommended for fettling work and casting defects to repair in foundries, casting involving hydrostatic pressure, joints under restraints, dissimilar thickness, welding of heavy sections, and joining cast iron to steel without any danger of
cracking.
