Applications:
- For the welding of AISI 430 Steels and AISI
410 Steels where chromium contents are on
the higher side. - For Steels requiring high resistance to
chemical corrosion and oxidation resistance
up to 8500C
Description
MODI DUEX-1 is a rutile flux-coated electrode which deposits, typically 23% Cr,10%Ni,3% Mo & 0.16%N2. The weld metal structure is an austenitic ferrite duplex stainless steel with a ferrite content of about 35%.This specially designed electrode is suitable for welding similar composition of duplex stainless steels. The electrode offers an excellent combination of high strength and excellent resistance to chloride-induced
pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
